Free data governance bundle for my subscribers
Free governance bundle for my subscribers $74.99 in governance resources. Free for the first 100.
I teamed up with Wendy S. Batchelder and Packt to put two governance guides together as a free bundle. First 100 people get it at no cost. After that it is $35.99.
The 30-Day Reset template kit normally runs $39. Wendy’s Data Governance Handbook is $35.99 through Packt. You get both for nothing.
Here is why I did this.
The 30-Day Reset works. You pick 5 metrics, assign owners, prove value in a month. I stand behind it. But every time someone finishes the reset and asks “ok, now what does the full program look like at enterprise scale?” I have not had a good single resource to point them to.
Wendy wrote one. Her Data Governance Handbook covers the things the reset deliberately skips: data quality standards, metadata management, security and compliance structures, the org design for running governance across thousands of people. It is the enterprise reference I did not write because that is not what I do. My work is about decision authority and ownership at the operational level. Hers is about the architecture that holds the whole thing together.
So we put them together.
The 30-Day Governance Reset ($39 template kit) is the starting point. Freeze the current state, pick 5 metrics, assign real owners, document definitions and known limitations, expand to domain ownership, prove it works by removing a workaround and running a real decision through the structure.
The Data Governance Handbook ($35.99) is where you go once the foundation is working and you need to build the full program around it.
One tells you what to do this month. The other tells you what the next two years look like. Separately that is $74.99. The bundle runs for $35.99 after the first 100.
First 100 subscribers get it for free. I do not do these often, so grab it while it is there.

Would love these. Selling DG continues to be a problem. No one looks at the policy documents. Data stewards asking what really do you need from me?
